Sumo Restaurant Bergen Sentrum

Normally one of my “go to” restaurants. Especially for their Sushi. This time we had a poke bowl. I had a salmon one. I counted 6 dices of salmon and 5 pieces of avocado. Will not order that dish again. Service: unfortunately very “up and down” all depends who’s at work. You have sometimes a waiter who’s a trained waiter and “scans the room” and see who needs attention, and other times you nearly needs to go to the bar and ask for a waiter. Think I will stay with their Sushi that I absolutely love ❤️ and most of the time, we order either takeaway or home delivery They used to have an easy and user friendly APP, for some reason that’s closed down, and it’s a web interface that is not good to put it in a friendly phrase.

I enjoyed my sushi dinner. The service was nice. Great atmosphere. Good food. Still trying to get used to the sticker shock of food in Norway. Recommended.

Best place to have Japanese Asian fusion food, good service with good food. Ambient environment, suitable for gathering.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and I have been here many times, bus the service is average. Golden gate is a special sushi that I highly recommend.

Nice place and atmosphere. Quality of sashimi is really high. Food in general was not amazing as the price or menu would suggest, but still worth trying.

Very nice Asian fusion kitchen. The dishes might be a little bit Instagram style but especially in the naming and decoration- but the taste is fantastic. Very friendly and fast service. Nice atmosphere and an open kitchen. I recommend to test this restaurant once you are in Bergen if you are looking for Asian food.

Great food! Something pleasing for the whole family. We really enjoyed the cauliflower. The fish was fresh. Lots of vegetarian options. They even let us order a “half” portion of the pad Thai for a child. We cleaned our plates and would certainly return! (The empty sushi plate is evidence!)
